A Place to Learn About Our Faith, Religion and Greek Heritage

library

Hours: Open every Sunday after the Divine Liturgy from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m.

As we all know, learning about our Faith and Heritage is limitless. This is why the St. Spyridon Bookstore and Library were created, to assist people of all ages along this journey. Whether you would like to learn more about a particular aspect of our faith and religious customs, or take a journey from Ancient and Classical Greece, through Byzantium and into Modern Greece, you can find books on these subjects in both our Bookstore and Library.

The Bookstore: We have an excellent selection of books for sale. If we do not have a book you are looking for we can also search and order it for you. We also carry many religious and “gift” items such as icons, hymnology CDs, photo cards by Christos and Sophia and others.

The Library: Here you can borrow books which are not available in the Bookstore. There are sections on Ancient Greek Life, Architecture, Literature and Mythology, Orthodoxy and Byzantium, and on Greek Museums. There is no fee to borrow a book from the library. You must simply be a member of the Church and there is a two week return policy. We also have a few books in the Greek language.
